Government recalls engineer working at BDA after alleged illegal site scam

The government has recalled an engineer who had been working on deputation at the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA). This action follows serious allegations of illegally converting a transport hub area into residential plots without prior government approval or board consent. The engineer, Ashok CN, was working at BDA for 14 years on deputation. The department has directed that the engineer be reported to the Water Resources Department, which is the parent department.
