Gold and silver prices drop in Bengaluru; 10-gram gold falls to ₹1.42 lakh

Due to global market pressure, the price of gold and silver has dropped in Bengaluru's markets. The price of 10 grams of 99.9% pure gold fell by ₹3,200, reaching ₹1.42 lakh. Similarly, the silver rate dropped by ₹4,200 per kg, reaching ₹1.86 lakh. According to R. Srinivas, Secretary of the Bengaluru Jewelers Association, while current buying is low, strong buying is expected during the Dhanatrayodashi festival.
