Ganja seizures at KIA nearly triple in first six months

Customs seized 976.85 kg of ganja at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) between April and September, up from 330.58 kg in the same period last year. The number of cases registered rose from 47 to 108, and arrests increased from 48 to 129, according to Customs data. The seizures in the first six months of FY27 were valued at Rs 3.43 crore.
