Former Minister J.C. Madhuswamy claims 0.75 TMC water allocation was secured for the taluk

Speaking in Chikkanayakanahalli, former minister J.C. Madhuswamy stated that 0.75 TMC water was allocated to the taluk by his efforts. He addressed farmers who approached him regarding the work of diverting Etthinahole water to the Durga lake near the town. Madhuswamy clarified that the water allocated to the taluk is for drinking purposes only, not for agriculture. He also mentioned that the project involves diverting water through a 4 km pipeline from Kodakeere to Honnebaagi, ensuring natural flow to Durga and Hosakere lakes.
