Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai criticized the government's financial management in Bengaluru. He stated that the Finance Department's warning, citing high expenditure, shows the government's financial management is completely failed. Bommai also criticized CM D.K. Shivakumar for trying to protect himself by comparing the current situation to the governments of Y.B. Yediyurappa and Bommai.
