Food Safety Department officials conducted a sudden raid on the pickle manufacturing unit of S.P. Malenadu Enterprises in Kamakshi Palya, Bengaluru. The unit was sealed due to hygiene deficiencies. Officials inspected various food safety aspects, including the preparation and storage methods, usage period, hygiene at the preparation site, quality of ingredients used, raw material storage, and labeling.
