FIR filed against Andhra IAS officer and friends for assaulting Bengaluru police

An FIR has been filed at the Cubbon Park Police Station against an Andhra Pradesh IAS officer and his friends, alleging assault and verbal abuse of CCB police during an unexpected raid. The incident occurred four days ago at the Kaavor Pub on MG Road. Police are expected to issue notices to the accused for questioning regarding this matter. The altercation reportedly started when the IAS officer, Vikas Marmaj, and his friends were partying at the pub and objected to the police questioning the patrons. The dispute escalated when the police asked for identification, leading to an alleged verbal abuse and assault on the CCB officers.
