Finance Department flags concerns over 2.2km Hebbal short tunnel road

The Finance Department flagged significant financial, contractual, and mobility-planning concerns over the proposed 2.2km Hebbal short tunnel from Esteem Mall to Veterinary College. The department noted that the proposal's changes could expose the project to legal challenges and questioned the funding of the Rs 2,215 crore project. It also raised concerns regarding the tunnel's integration with the North-South Tunnel and the absence of an independent feasibility report.
