Finance Department's advice is not a political matter; BJP should protest: DK Shivakumar

Responding to the BJP's protest regarding the Finance Department's advice on the state's financial constraints, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated that the advice is a normal administrative process and does not require politicization. He noted that the Finance Department advising the government is its duty, citing similar warnings during the tenures of previous governments like Yediyurappa's and Basavaraj Bommai's. Shivakumar also stated that due to drought conditions, financial difficulties may arise in the state and the country, emphasizing that this is not a political issue.
