Farmers' markets to offer chemical-free produce in Haveri and Ranebennur

The Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene are launching 'Raitha Santhe' (farmers’ market) in Haveri and Ranebennur to provide chemical-free food. The association plans to replicate the model, which has been successfully running every Saturday at the Munivenkatayya Open-Air Theatre in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru. The Haveri market will be inaugurated on December 23, Farmers’ Day, operating on Sundays, while the Ranebennur market will operate on Thursdays.
