Farmers continue protest at Bidadi town area despite CM's appeal; HDK demands action against police misconduct

Farmers continued their indefinite protest and fast at the police station in Channapatana, despite police taking them into custody and CM HD Kumaraswamy arriving to appeal. The farmers, who had initially stopped the fast, resumed the protest at the Bidadi Bairamangala Circle. CM HD Kumaraswamy expressed anger over the police's alleged misconduct, stating they had treated the protestors inhumanely. He warned that if action is not taken against the four or five police officers involved by Monday, he would organize a protest by stopping the Bengaluru-Mysuru National Highway with 50,000 people.
