Farmers' association organizes mourning procession in Bengaluru over 18 demands

A farmers' association announced plans for a mourning procession on September 28 to protest 18 demands, including declaring more taluks as drought-affected and loan waivers. The procession will start from the Farmers' Bhavan at A.P.MC in the city and proceed via Izhuru Circle to the Deputy Commissioner's office. The protest also demanded the withdrawal of the final notification for the Bidadi Township project and a comprehensive discussion on drought and farmers' issues in the assembly.
