Expert committee report on bus fare hike to be submitted today

A committee, formed under retired IAS officer Atayal Tiwari, is set to submit its report to the government today regarding the increase in bus ticket fares. The report covers the financial status and ticket increase proposals for four transport corporations, including KSRTC and BMTC. Experts suggest the ticket fare may increase by 12%, while BMTC fares are expected to rise by 15-17%.
