Eshwar Khandre orders probe into fake GPS photos used to cheat MGNREGA workers

Following reports that MGNREGA workers are being cheated using fake GPS photos, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Eshwar Khandre has ordered an investigation. He instructed the department secretaries to investigate the matter and submit a report within four days. Khandre directed that if the allegations are true, a report with recommendations for action against the culprits must be submitted, and measures must be taken to prevent such fraud using technology.
