EPFO extends ECR filing due date to October 31

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has extended the due date for filing the Electronic Challan-cum-Return (ECR) and remitting statutory contributions for the September 2026 wage month to October 31, 2026. The earlier deadline was October 15. The extension was announced by PB Verman, Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner (Compliance), with the approval of the Central Provident Fund Commissioner (CPFC).
