Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa urges release of teachers from SIR work

Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa stated that teachers in government and aided schools have been assigned to Special Intensive Revision (SIR) work. He stated that this process is causing delays and affecting children's learning. Bangarappa added that the government is preparing a bill to prevent the use of teachers for caste censuses, various surveys, and administrative survey work in the future.
