ED investigation reveals financial details in Kannale's diary; protest held at Bengaluru's Freedom Park

During the ED investigation, financial transaction details were revealed from the diary of Basavaraj Kannale, an accused of the Karnataka Lokayukta scam. The diary mentioned pending amounts from eight candidates, including Manjunath, Pooja, Ashwini Kumar, Mohan Kumar, Sangameshwari, Padmavathi, and Harish. Separately, the investigation also revealed that three villas were booked near Devanahalli in Bengaluru Rural for training over 20 candidates. A protest was held at Bengaluru's Freedom Park on Monday by the 'Committee of Candidates Selected for Veterinary Officer Posts' demanding conditional appointment letters for eligible candidates.
