ED investigation expands into international finances, links Turkey, UAE, Azerbaijan in fake medicine network case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has expanded its investigation into the fake medicine network case, examining the major accused's foreign financial transactions and connections to Turkey, UAE, and Azerbaijan. The Karnataka Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting a separate investigation into the fake medicine network exposed in Tavarekere, Bengaluru, on August 18. The ED has also started its probe, seizing approximately ₹9 lakh from Vireesh Kumar Jain, owner of Krupa Healthcare in Minerva Circle.
