e-Asti 2.0 launched for property division, simplifying land and layout rules

The Revenue Department launched 'e-Asti 2.0' to make property record management and plot division more transparent. This new system allows property owners and joint owners to divide their land and plots easily. Furthermore, the government introduced rules allowing owners of land up to half an acre to self-declare details like road placement and width. The system also provides compensation from the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) for land donated for public roads.
