Dual runway simultaneous operations expected at Kempegowda International Airport

The plan to allow simultaneous aircraft takeoffs from both runways at Kempegowda International Airport is expected to start early next year. While necessary equipment installation is complete, the process of integrating it with the air traffic control system and conducting safety tests is ongoing. Officials stated that the system is expected to begin operations in early 2027, following technical review and procedure readiness.
