Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar revealed the inspiring story behind his interest in Sanskrit shlokas and religious texts. He shared that the inspiration came after attending an event at Adi Chunchanagiri Math in Kumbalagondanahalli. Following a speech by Saty Sai Baba, he decided to study Sanskrit shlokas and religious texts. Since then, he started studying for one hour daily, initially through a teacher arranged by his private secretary.
