DK Shivakumar: Ethanol is being mixed at the source, not at the petrol pumps

DK Shivakumar stated that ethanol is not being mixed at the petrol pumps, but rather at the point of supply. He mentioned that the state government has taken action regarding the detection of over 20% ethanol in petrol. He added that samples were taken and tested at 67 locations, and the state has informed the central government. Shivakumar also stated that thousands of vehicle owners are complaining about vehicles breaking down and engines failing, and that the mileage provided is insufficient.
