DK Shivakumar alleges Election Commission is BJP's puppet; demands CBI intervention

At a protest gathering in Bengaluru's Freedom Park, DK Shivakumar addressed the crowd. He alleged that the Election Commission is a puppet of the BJP and that the names of poor and critical voters are being targeted. He demanded that the President dissolve the Election Commission and cancel the SIFR process. Shivakumar also stated that the Election Commission needs constitutional autonomy and that the process of election should be re-examined.
