DIG of Kalaburagi Jail Arrested in Connection with Fake Release Order

Parappa Agrahara Police arrested DIG Somashekhara, of Kalaburagi Jail (North Zone), on charges of creating a fake order and releasing a life-term convict. The police stated that the investigation, based on a complaint filed on May 20 of this year, led to the arrest of the former head of Parappa Agrahara Central Jail. The DIG was taken into police custody for questioning by a team led by ACP K.M. Satish and Inspector P.G. Naveen Kumar.
