During an ED raid at the residence, a diary belonging to accused Basavaraj Kannada was recovered. The diary reportedly records the accounts of money expected from candidates. It mentions pending amounts from eight candidates, including Manjunath, Pooja, Ashwini Kumar, Sangamesh, Padmavathi, and Harish. The diary states that Manjunath, Pooja, Ashwini Kumar, Sangamesh, Padmavathi, and Harish are due 10 lakh rupees each, and Mohan Kumar is due 5 lakh rupees.
