Bengaluru Development Minister directs preparation of long-term master plan for city infrastructure

Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda directed officials to prepare a long-term master plan for the entire Bengaluru Urban district. He stated that the plan must account for the city’s actual growth, including areas beyond the GBA limits. Byre Gowda also stressed that the agency that excavates a road must take complete responsibility for its restoration. Furthermore, he emphasized that BMTC should introduce GPS-enabled feeder bus services within a 2-3 km radius of Metro stations.
