Deadline set for teachers to record attendance via Geo-tagging

The Department of School Education and Higher Education has given a deadline until September 30 for teachers, instructors, and teaching staff of many government schools to record attendance via Geo-tagging. Both departments stated in separate circulars that failure to record the geo-coordinates of the college or office through a mobile app by the stipulated time may affect salary payments. Attendance recording for all government employees has been made mandatory since this year through 'Kartavya-KAMS' using an AI-based mobile app.
