Dates and dry fruits prices rise in Bengaluru due to increased transport costs

Traders report that the prices of certain food products, including Saudi dates and jam water, have increased in Bengaluru. According to Abdul Hamid, owner of K.H. Punsari shop in Shivajinagar, the prices of key dates imported from Saudi Arabia have risen by about ₹100 per kg. The price of jam water has also increased, from approximately ₹1,500 for a 5-liter can to ₹2,200.
