Despite the high cost of flowers, fruits, and lime in Bengaluru, shopping for Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadashami continues strongly since Sunday. K.R. Market, Madivala, Malleshwara, Gandhi Bazaar, Yeshwanthpur, Vijayanagar, Basaveshwaranagar, Hebbal, Dasarahalli, and Jayanagar saw heavy crowds of flower and fruit buyers. The price of K.G. roses is reported between ₹200 and ₹300 wholesale, and ₹400 to ₹450 retail. The price of lime is noted as slightly higher compared to the previous year.
