Customs seize ₹29 crore gold and ganja at Kempegowda International Airport

Customs officials seized a total of 1.20 kg of gold and 80 kg of ganja at Kempegowda International Airport. The estimated value of the seized items is ₹29.75 crore. Eight people were arrested in connection with various cases. Seizures included 559 grams of gold worth ₹81.47 lakh from a traveler arriving from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Additionally, 2 kg of hydroponic ganja worth ₹70 lakh was found in a bag from a traveler from Vietnam.
