CSR Representative: Even with ₹1.10 lakh salary, government school teachers fail to attend school for 5 days a week

At a CSR representative event held at the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Wednesday, Aishwarya Shivakumar spoke. She stated that even though the salary for teachers in the school adopted by their trust was ₹1.10 lakh, they were not attending school for 5 days a week. She also highlighted issues like lack of cleanliness and basic amenities, and suggested that refurbished school buses could benefit students, noting that 200 children benefit from the buses that make 4 trips daily.
