Court grants time extension to Chikkananna, Yashas Surya testify in Ranakaswamy case
Proceedings are ongoing at the 59th City Civil and Sessions Court in Bengaluru regarding the Ranakaswamy case involving actors Darshan Tugudipa, Pavithra Gowda, and D Gang. Actor Chikkananna appeared at the 59th Sessions Court and stated he would record his statement. However, Chikkananna reportedly became highly tense before the court, prompting the SSP and judges to advise him to take it easy and take time. The court subsequently granted time and issued a new summons to postpone the testimony. Another key witness, actor Yashas Surya, also recorded his statement, mentioning he met Darshan to discuss a future film. The defense lawyer, Hashmath Pasha, stated that both witnesses gave partial statements and that time was sought to cross-examine Yashas Surya's testimony. He added that the defense could not say anything until the witnesses' statements were complete.
