Bengaluru court bars media from circulating video related to Siddaramaiah sting operation

A Bengaluru court issued a temporary restraining order on Tuesday, 13 October, barring media houses and social media from publishing or circulating a video clip purportedly from a sting operation. The order was passed ex parte by Judge D Pushpanjali of the XIX Additional City Civil and Sessions Court. The court noted that the allegations in the material strike directly at former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's personal dignity and reputation.
