Bengaluru Corporation launches evening waste collection to ease waste disposal burden

To address the issue of waste disposal for working professionals, students, and homemakers in the Greater Bengaluru area, the Bengaluru South City Corporation has launched a novel system of waste collection in the evenings. This system will operate from 5 PM to 12 AM in the Bommanahalli area, collecting both wet and dry waste. The initiative is currently operational in 5 wards, including Bommanahalli and Hongasandra, and is expected to help control roadside waste block spots.
