Congress MLA requests CM and Deputy CM to provide ₹1 crore prize money for Asian Games gold medal winners

Congress MLA Dinesh Gooligowda wrote a letter to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister requesting that gold medal winners of the Asian Games receive ₹1 crore, silver medal winners receive ₹50 lakh, and bronze medal winners receive ₹25 lakh in cash prizes. He also requested that the government honor the eight achievers from the state at the Vidhana Soudha banquet hall and give special priority to them in the selection of the upcoming Karnataka Rajyotsava award.
