Congress MLA B.K. Sangameshwara and others acquitted in court

The Special Sessions Court for Cases Against MLAs and MPs acquitted Congress MLA B.K. Sangameshwara and others of charges of attempted murder. Justice K.B. Shivprasad announced the decision on Tuesday, stating that 'all accused are innocent.' The court ordered an Acquittal Review Committee to examine if any lapses occurred during the investigation, accepting the arguments made by the defense lawyer C.H. Hanumantharaya.
