Congress loss in Vidhana Parishad election: Ministers responsible for Puttanna's defeat, says H.C. Balakrishna

Addressing the media in Magadi, Urban Development Minister H.C. Balakrishna stated that the Congress party's internal weaknesses were the reason for the loss in the Vidhana Parishad election. He stated that all ministers must be held accountable for the party's defeat, especially the loss of the candidate Puttanna from the Bengaluru teachers' constituency. Balakrishna said the loss was due to the party's own mistake, stating that they failed to work as if the organization would take care of everything. He added that if they had taken a firm decision and worked together, they could have won all four seats.
