Congress candidate accused of distributing gift coupons, cash during Vidhana Parishad election

Opposition leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy alleged that Congress candidate Puttanna is attempting to attract voters by distributing gift coupons, flasks, tiffin boxes, and money in the context of the Vidhana Parishad teacher constituency election. He stated that gift coupon cards, saying 'Dasara festival wishes,' were distributed, directing people to buy items at Lulu Mall. Chalavadi Narayanaswamy also alleged that the distribution of gift coupons through BEOs and the offering of money are taking place. He warned that he would release photos of BEOs involved with the Congress candidate, questioning the ethics of such actions.
