College student dies after drowning in Hesaraghatta Lake

A college student drowned in Hesaraghatta Lake after leaving home, stating he had installed Ganesh at the college. The deceased, Harsha (20), a resident of Kamakshi Palya, Bengaluru, was found dead after entering the lake with friends. He reportedly drowned in the deep water due to poor swimming skills. The body was later recovered from the lake by dive expert Ishwar Malpe, and the case has been registered at the Soladevannahalli Police Station.
