CM instructs ministers on preparations for local body elections and sugarcane farmers' issues

Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar stated that all must work together to resolve the issues faced by sugarcane farmers, including Minimum Support Price. He mentioned that he has informed the ministers about the issues of sugarcane farmers and the need for separate discussions between sugar factory owners and farmers. Regarding local body elections, he stated that the Election Commission will provide a new voter list on the 27th and that ministers must prepare for the local body elections by the 31st, as per the Supreme Court's directive.
