CM DK Shivakumar states Kasturirangan report implementation will impact 10 districts' livelihoods

Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated on Monday that the central government's move to implement the Dr. K. Kasturirangan report will adversely affect the livelihoods of people in 10 districts. Speaking in the Vidhana Soudha on the first day of a three-day special session, he stated that the government is committed to protecting the interests of farmers and people. He also clarified that there is no question of displacing farmers and local people.
