CM DK Shivakumar on Kasturirangan Report: Senior Advocates to present state's view in Supreme Court

CM DK Shivakumar stated in the Vidhana Sabha that senior advocates will be appointed to present the state's clear opinion in the Supreme Court regarding the Central Government's notification related to the Kasturirangan Report. He mentioned that the National Green Tribunal directed the Central Government to issue the final notification after considering the Kasturirangan Report, and to inform the state afterward. However, he added that the Tribunal did not mention any state sharing the Western Ghats.
