CM D.K. Shivakumar in uniform at Poura Karmika Day celebration; announces welfare increases

During the Poura Karmika Day celebration, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar participated and spoke while wearing a uniform meant for sanitation workers. He announced that the government will increase the allowance for sanitation workers from 3,000 to 7,000 and raise the breakfast allowance from 35 to 70 rupees. CM D.K. Shivakumar stated that sanitation workers are responsible for keeping the environment, roads, and city clean, and the government considers their welfare paramount.
