CM D.K. Shivakumar discusses milk price hike in cabinet, says

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated that the cabinet will discuss the increase in milk prices and make a final decision. He added that the District Milk Union Chairman met him and requested a ₹ 12 increase, of which ₹ 2 should be given to the unions. He also stated that a decision will be made after receiving and reviewing reports on the situations in neighboring states like Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. He concluded by saying the government is committed to protecting the farmers and unions, and necessary steps will be taken.
