CM announces cabinet sub-committee to provide facilities to sanitation workers

Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar announced the formation of a cabinet sub-committee to provide facilities to sanitation workers. He stated that the sub-committee will include key officials from the Department of Social Welfare and Urban Development. During the state-level sanitation workers' day celebration in Bengaluru, he promised to raise the daily breakfast wage from ₹ 35 to ₹ 70. Ministers also promised the establishment of special residential schools for workers' children and the construction of a Paurabhavana.
