CM advises MLAs on preparations for local body elections and development programs

During a Congress legislative party meeting held at Ashok Hotel on Tuesday night, CM D.K. Shivakumar advised MLAs to prepare for local body elections. He stated that ₹1 crore in grants will be provided to every panchayat for the development of rural roads. Shivakumar also urged MLAs not to neglect the implementation of 'Praja Seva Andolana' and Bharat Jodo Yuva Sangha programs. Other attendees at the meeting included AICC Working Committee member Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM G. Parameshwara, KPCI President B.K. Hariprasad, ministers, and MLAs.
