Citizens stage symbolic inauguration of Pink Line, pressuring BMRCL for timely service

Local residents staged a symbolic inauguration of the Pink Line, expressing frustration over the delays in the Namma Metro's expansion. The event, which saw senior citizens and youth with pink balloons, highlighted the demand for BMRCL to make the line available to the public quickly. BMRCL has decided to start commercial services on the elevated section of the Pink Line between Kailegna Agrahara and Tavarekere in the second week of October. The line will feature six stations, including Kailegna Agrahara, Hulimavu, JP Nagar 4th Stage, IIIMB, Jayadeva Hospital, and Tavarekere, extending the Bengaluru Metro network to 103.6 km.
