CID report reveals further details in KPSC recruitment scam investigation

CID officials have submitted a report to the state government regarding the KPSC veterinary officer recruitment scam. The report details the nature of the scam and the progress of the investigation. According to the report, three candidates gave a total of ₹60 lakh in cash to the accused Basavaraj Kannada. Additionally, CID officials seized approximately ₹1.5 crore from various bank accounts, including accounts belonging to Lakshmi Souharda Bank in Bidar, and the accounts of the Ballu Reddy and Kannada family. The investigation has now been handed over to the SIT team.
