Chinnaswamy Stadium ready for international cricket match after crowd incident; Metro travel free for ticket holders

The Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is once again prepared to host an international cricket match following a crowd incident that occurred on June 4, 2025, during an RCB celebration. A match between India and West Indies is scheduled for Saturday, the 17th. The state government's high-level expert committee visited the stadium on Tuesday to review preparations, observing security, entry, exit, crowd management, CCTV, and fire safety systems. Ticket holders for the match can use the Metro free of charge for arrival and departure, and KSCARC also announced a parking facility at the Metro station.
