CCB police say 'sting video' targeting former CM lacks sting

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) stated that the 'sting operation' video appears to contain fabricated allegations of sexual abuse. The CCB police, investigating the case based on a complaint filed by former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, said that statements recorded and evidence collected so far fail to substantiate the incident depicted in the recording. The police are investigating whether the recording was deliberately staged, fabricated, or manipulated, and they are also examining why the video was recorded nearly 12 years after the alleged incident.
